My name is Juan Jose. I am 28 years old. My “friends” wanted me to be part of their club. I soon became addicted to alcohol and some other drugs. These people had a bad influence on me.
One day a pastor was in our community. His name was Martin. He was part of a small group sharing about God around the town. He soon came close to where I live and approached me. He told me about Jesus. As he talked to me I felt like God was doing something inside of me. Right there that day I accepted Jesus. I prayed he would come into my life.
I have decided from now on that I will go to church with my wife. My life is not the same. I thank God for allowing me to become his child. I also thank Pastor Martin and the others for caring for me and rescuing me from the darkness I was in.
